Toyota Crown MajestaBody types: Hardtop and Sedan. (help) The Toyota Crown is a line of mid-size luxury sedans by Toyota. The range was primarily available in Japan and some other Asian countries, although it was also sold in the United States during the early 1950s. Most models of the car are distinguishable by a front 'Crown' badge, but the common Toyota badge is usually used on the rear. The 1st model was first launched in 1955 and was exported to the United States. Initially, a 1.5-litre engine was standard, but later models were available with a 1.9-litre engine. Models in the Crown Lineup are Crown Comfort (a previous model S120 Crown used exclusively for taxi/police in Japan and Hong Kong), Toyota Crown Sedan, Toyota Crown Majesta, Toyota Crown Royal, Toyota Crown Estate, Crown Athlete.
