Toyota CaldinaBody type: Wagon. The Toyota Caldina is the 5-door wagon version in Japan of the 4-door sedan Toyota Carina and later Toyota Avensis. Starting from 2002 model year it has its own design and shares platform with Toyota Allion and Toyota Corona Premio. Due to the trend of faster SUVs, Toyota put the fourth generation of the 3S-GTE into the top of the range Caldina, along with 4WD, rather than continuing to put it into their sports car, the Toyota Celica, as they did since 1986. The Caldina has so far never been officially exported by Toyota outside of Japan.
